Engie Martin
Engie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT® 200), and Integrative Health Coach. Engie has a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Western Ontario and has experience providing direct ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. While in supervised practice, she began providing health coaching services in 2020 rooted in the framework of Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT). As a mother of two young children, she has found ACT to be beneficial in parenting, relationships, and self-care. Engie started her fitness journey in 2013 by doing video workouts at home, which developed into an interest in weight lifting and strength training. She enjoys yoga, kickboxing, bubble tea, riding bikes and taking walks on trails, and kayaking.
Within TeamABA, Engie is an Assistant Training and Supervision Coordinator. Engie is also a member of the Wellness Division Leadership team and is a co-instructor for Practicing Behavior Analysis in Sports, Health and Fitness (formerly Precision Coaching 101). In addition, Engie assisted in developing the manual for what was formerly known as “Precision Acceptance and Commitment Training: A Guide to Implementation”.
Engie’s interests within TeamABA Wellness are Precision Health and Wellness, Sports Behavior Performance (formerly PACT), and Medical Behavioral Consulting.
